Born in a Workshop, Proven on a Circuit

S46LM started as a single idea: build one car to a personal specification-coachbuilt, roadlegal, and trackcapable. The founder reengineered a beloved platform with an OEMlevel S54 integration, motorsportgrade brakes and suspension, and a focus on predictability at the limit. It became S46LM 01/01-a restomod with prototype discipline.

The watch that followed is the S46LM Renstraße, designed like an instrument you'd trust at speed. The dial features a bicolor red/blue field for instant contrast, a longitudinal central aperture exposing a jewelset bridge, and an instrumentgrade chapter ring with highlegibility calibrations. A framed date at 3, the S46LM emblem at 9, brushed luminous batons, and a signalred seconds hand complete the cockpitready interface. Materials and finishing are chosen to reduce glare and prioritize function.

We build in microbatches and test where it counts-at the track. S46LM is now two workshops, one philosophy: STIL Engineering proves ideas on wheels; STIL Timepieces refines them for the wrist. Both exist to place mechanical authenticity back at the center of design.

  • PVDCoated StainlessSteel Case: black physical vapor deposition over stainless steel for a stealth aesthetic and enhanced surface durability; integrated crown guards and a positivegrip knurled crown for confident control.
  • Sapphire Crystal (Front): scratchresistant with anti-reflective (AR) coating to preserve contrast in bright light.
  • Transparent Caseback: sapphire display back showcasing the movement with an engraved rotor.

Dial & Interface

  • BiColor Racing Dial: split red/blue fields for instant contrast and an unmistakable motorsport signature.
  • Centerline Aperture: vertical window revealing a jewelset bridge; structure made visible, not hidden.
  • Instrument Rehaut: matte black chapter ring with black second hashes and bold 5-second numerals for gaugelike readability.
